A wonder of nature – betulin
Did you know that several products can be obtained from birch tree? One of them is betulin, a 100% natural compound with antibacterial and cell regenerative properties, derived from birch bark. It can be used in the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other products as a substitute for synthetic materials. This adhesive incorporates bio-based renewable lignin as a substitute for conventional fossil phenol.
