Jelena Ostapenko became the champion of French Open and gained huge attention in the foreign media, bringing Latvia’s name in the world. In the official YouTube account of Roland-Garros, videos with Ostapenko were among most popular, one reaching 380 896 views. Also Google Analytics show that during the two days of the final the internet users’ interest about the young Latvian tennis star and thus about Latvia has risen significantly.
