A new edition of the Financial Sector Update bulletin that is part of the government's drive to improve the reputation of the financial sector, has been published at the Cabinet of Ministers website.
Now a monthly publication, the latest Update includes an introductory message from new Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš who writes: "My government is determined to do its utmost to restore the international reputation of the Latvian financial sector. We have already agreed on a set of priorities for our economy, including strengthening the rule of law, increasing our competitiveness, and attracting investment. These objectives, along with timely implementation of MONEYVAL recommendations, are the key to our country's growth and our people’s prosperity."
