In order to discuss matters that concern the Eastern Partnership Summit, Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma had a meeting with former presidents of Latvia and heads of state and government from other European countries.

In the meeting with Straujuma the ex-presidents of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga and Valdis Zatlers participated. Also former Serbian President Boris Tadic, former Romanian President Emil Constantinescu, former Bulgarian President Petar Stoyanov, former Slovakian Prime Minister Iveta Radicova, former Georgian Prime Minister George Papandreou and others took a part.

Strategic cooperation between the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries and also the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga was discussed, during the meeting.
