In the national finals of the Creative Business Cup, where four companies competed against one another to represent Latvia at the world’s leading competition for creative industries, the company Vividly came out on top. Vividly, which offers virtual reality solutions in architecture, will represent Latvia at the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen this fall.
16 Latvian creative industries companies applied for the radi! competition, where they presented their business ideas to a jury.
A total of five applicants – Bee in, Dusis, Edurio, Epicoach and Vividly – made it to the final stage of the competition, but after being granted EUR 1.86 million from the EU’s research and innovation grant program Horizon 2020, Edurio did not match the competition’s criteria any longer, and only four finalists remained.
The Creative Business Cup brings together the national champions from all over the world in its annual competition. Participation in the Creative Business Cup empowers entrepreneurs in creative industries, connects them to international investors and global markets, organizes seminars and discussions and strengthens their innovative capabilities to the benefit of industry and society. Furthermore, valuable prizes are also given to the various winners.
